Life could be a rush to many people, just like a transit train in the city which brings before to and fro from one place to another, incessantly. If life is a rush, please step aside and slow it down. There is no shame to be slower than that rest. You deserve to take a break and you have every right to do that.
As we travel through the life journey, remnants of the unhappy past and present will stick with us. Things like anxieties, worries, despair, money, or fallen hopes. Remember, money is not everything in your life. It is important yet you must not be controlled by it!
It is very important to be who you are. Live as though you have all the time in the world. Don't rush. It is useless to rush for something and finds yourself at the wrong end of it. Nobody will appreciate all your effort. What a disappointment!!
Get into your own life. Step into your own world. Be committed to your own goals and dreams. Be yourself. Be happy.

Empower your mind

"I'm bored, there's nothing to do" never really happens for me. I can't wait for a spare moment to go check something out. Life is just so damn fascinating to be feeling bored.
You see, the Universe is always sending you signs and vibrations. All the time, and when you become aware and ask for signs, they come right to you. This applies to everything you want in life. Sometimes the signs could come faster while sometimes you need to be patient.
When receiving a sign of encouragement or a sign to take action, you have to think about what a particular sign means to you. I see positive signs all the time, like there was a sparrow who flew into my house recently chirping and fluttering excitedly. It was not losing its way definitely as it did not behave weirdly. To me that is a good sign that there is prosperity in my house.
You see,m there there is too much to learn to ever be bored or disinterested. Just pick a subject and go find out about it. A lot of stuff you learn can be life changing - and always for the better.
Empower yourself by having enquiring mind. Life is just too interesting to let go.

time changes a person
Let me be serious. Whenever a friend or an acquaintance asks me, "Suppiah, what is your vision or goal in your life?, I will cringe when I think of the stakes of answering this question. Frankly, I'm not able to answer this simple question properly. Maybe I have not thought of that in depth or I give my own life a damn..I used to dream of being a sportsman, I like to play hockey when I was young and when I was in the school but that was years ago...later in life, I like to be a top car salesman because I like cars. Somehow, the path drifts and now I'm just a normal project engineer.
Well, coming back to reality, I guess my answer now will be I wish to take care of my family well enough so that they do not have to suffer too much. Pretty ambitionless arh?
As kids, we wish to grow up faster so that we can escape from the clutches of our parents. So we dream but such dream changes as we grow up and we experience different things. The dream of being a sportsman changes when I studied in uni and now I'm not even sure if this is what I want in life, just that the salary of this job is enough for me to feed my family well which is the most comforting.
So time changes a person...

Delighted
My lifestyle. Yeah, I'm delighted to write that I know I’m really a lucky person as I show gratitude to whatever events that happen in my life so far. Also I appreciate the freedom and choices I have in my life. I have a good job that pays me reasonably to feed my family and that's what makes me feel really happy.
Also people around me are really wonderful. There are people in who love me, as I am, and appreciate me as well. That’s a fantastic feeling. I should treasure it as much a i can. Thanks.

Life goes on
Not really in happy mood recently, as you know, the Hindraf incident here has made many of us feel uncertain in our beloved country. Every country has own domestic problems and this is one of them that has been ignored over and over. I shouldn't comment too much about this sensitive issue though. I shall leave it to your own analysis and conclusion.
For me and my circle of people, lives still go on as usual. Some of them are clearly incensed by the event but I encourage them to be congenial as usual, after all we do have our families to raise here.

Living passionately is not about....
Living passionately is an important aspect of a fulfilling life. But passion doesn't have to be reserved for just our goals. We have become so goal oriented that we have lost being involved in the activity and the journey. I agree that without passion for the journey itself, and that includes all areas of life, there will be disappointment when we reach our destination.
Besides, there is no destination. Life is an on-going process of evolution. So when we focus on reach the goal to feel satisfaction, we are reaching for a ghost.
So the only definition I can see is a bad habit is anything that has a disruptive, sabotaging and negative impact on our life. But in general, if we focus on strengthening our positive qualities, rather than trying to weed out every little negative action, we will create a more positive and productive lifestyle.

Create the life you most want and value.
"Life sucks!"
How often we hear that?
A lot of times, don't you think so, especially when you yourself are feeling that way, you'd realise many people are sulking over their own states of life too. Well, what do the mean when people exclaim that?
My understand would be that they feel unfair when someone else they know happen to have the luck to get the "good" things in life, while they have to slog it out without avail. I know, because this common human emotions.
Now the good news, thanks to Marie Callas wisdom!
We have the control of our own destiny, only if you are hungry enough!
Where our power lies is in focusing on what we do want rather than wallowing in what we don't! We are in charge of what we think about, talk about and do. That's the truth.
This world is getting faster and faster, especially in rapidly developing country like Malaysia, more people are going to be left behind, more chaos are appearing in the society, just read what's reported in the papers. No point drowning yourself in sorrow and expect sympathy. Instead, your life is not your circumstances.
You decide how to respond to circumstances and create the life you most want and value.

Some thoughts
The precious weekend went by fast and right now it is already Monday morning. I am catching up on my blog discreetly here in my snug office corner feeling invigorated and well rested. I am 20 minutes early today because I needed to drive my car to a nearby petrol station to top up the gas and usually there is a queue but today it was weird that I had my turn fast! Well, I admit I have not been posting as much as I like, not because I do not want to just that sometimes I have that feeling of information voidness when it comes to my blog.
My sister told me I could write about anything in life, however I am not the type to feature every moment of my time right here. This blog is mainly devoted specifically to Marie Callas and how she's benefitted my life. The other day I just made a post at MyStar online portal to rebut some claims about Marie Callas. I do not understand why some people find her service to be that kind and yet she has helped me so much.
Spiritually her teachings have renewed me much more than my own religious belief. As long as I find her to benefit my life, I will continue to render my support as well as referring friends who may need her service to them.
Now, today I read that the warming of the Indian Ocean in the past 20 to 30 years – brought about by global warming – could have played a part in the unusual weather which caused flooding in Johor and other parts of Malaysia, as reported Star newspaper. This indeed is something sad because I feel the nature has been steadily being degraded by human developments over the last one hundred years or so and now many countries are facing unpredictable climatic conditions and if this continues, it is going to harm many of our future generations. I hope some momentous laws will be passed soon, either politically, environmentally and technologically, to safe our planet from further degradation. I also pray that the flood situation will get better and better everyday because many homes are destroyed.
All right, I manage to complete this post in over 15 minutes and now I am off to some serious office stuff. Have a good day :)
