Therefore, I read this news with a lot of anticipation. It mentions something about using our proprietary RFID technology to solve sticky situations like cashier counter queues, just by a single sweep of a scanning device, all the items in your cart will be registered to the cash registers - you don't even have to remove them from the cart! That's superb, isn't it?
As a proud Malaysia, I'm glad that we are going into RFID technology development like this Malaysia Microchip (or MM Chip) . It's not new but we now boast having the smallest RFID (radio frequency identification) chip (0.7mm x 0.7mm size) with an on-board antenna in the world. Boleh! RFID technology is not new and local drivers have been using it in the Touch 'n Go cards but this MM Chip is a step forward.
I wish to see more of it in our daily applications soon because we are always rushing for time and this will make our efficiency better without wasting unncessary times.
