On decisions and opinions

Marie Callas - decisions and opinionsWhen we are younger and growing up, most of us did not get to select what we wished to be. We had to follow what our parents or fmaily's example or under pressure to do so. We give up our own dreams to make them pleased so that we can have lesser problems.

That's why I think that consulting other people's opinions and seeking approvals from others are not the same.

When we suffer a disappointment or setback, we got dejected and tend to hide behind a mask of fear and shame. One after another, we begin to wear more and more masks over the entire lives. In the end, we don't even know what is our true self or feelings.

One fine day, some real inspirations come to us and we think that we can finally do something that we like ourselves. But somehow, that courage is lacking due to the spats of failures we suffer in the past....life is an irony.

Need for awareness

It was really a great weekend filled with nationalistic mood, and it was also one of those weekends in which countrymen traversed across the states back to their hometowns to gather with their families again.

Some parts of the roads were jammed to the brim as I travelled to my parent's place at Malacca, a reasonable 200km away. It was nice to be back as I had not met them for more than three months. We promise each other we would gather at this time of the year.

On today's newspaper, it reported that many Malaysians were tricked by the SMS scams, up to the number of RM35 millions. It's a shame so many people are gullible. It was obviously a front that was set up to cheat your money.

I learned from Marie Callas that wealth is energy and you need to work out something on your part to attract them. You also must have the spiritual and psychic aura ready before wealth will come to you. Also, you need to affirm your desires positively and continuously.

Personally I have received such sms and I can understand why. It was just too easy to fall into the trick if you just look things on the surface.

Talking to a colleague and realise..

I talked to a young colleague who is just 22yo. After talking to her, I am very surprised at how many younger people believe or in fact, feel annoyed but don't do anything about it, that there is someone watching out for them and their careers. All the time and to the verge of taking over their lifes. Maybe it is because of their “helicopter parents” who hover around, always watching and advising their children. Some of these parents are even insist to attend schools with their childeren just for the sake of looking after them.

Maybe we all have a secret desire to win the lottery (you may approach Marie Callas for her help). Lottery can be of any sorts, from in terms of money, fame or an event that makes you to stardom. We believe that someday, somewhere, someone is going to walk up to us and say, “you are so naturally charismatic that I am going to select you for this Next Big Thing.”

I will advise people to get their own breaks. And start to plan early while you are young. Meet and network and, work and opportunities will naturally flow to those who demonstrate that they can handle it.
