We are getting poorer in health

If you trust those government released figures, here's one for you concerning the health of us Malaysians. It says that over 5,500 of us die every year because lifestyle diseases linked to heart, kidney and lung. Diabetes is also on the rise too. Well, take it or not, it should still serve as a grim warning that we should take health seriously as it is a treasure that can't be bought even if you have billions of ringgits. I have many friends who just don't care. They eat, drink and smoke in a carefree way.

Our lifestyle is getting better in this country and the food we eat most of the time is good in taste but poor in nutritions. Plus the lack of exercise among us is worsening the health of us too. I would like to live longer but without being ladden with wretching diseases.

I care about physical and spiritual health.

Luck came and went for this man

Read about this. I don't know how I will react if I were to be in his shoes!

A local gardener Mr Chew had the lucky streak of his life when he won RM3,000,000 top prize in a sweep drawn on 21 Jan 2007. He was over the moon I can imagine.

Now come the worse moment of his life.

All 5 tickets he had were missing and therefore he was unable to find winning ticket that prints the top prize number! How he came to know about his winning was because Mr Chew wrote the numbers he bought in his diary. He believed that the tickets were stolen and had since reported it to the polis, however, the polis classified as “RLA - Rujuk Lain Agensi".

I am not very sure what is the outcome now, but if I am the sweep company, I'd be delighted because I don't have to pay the money.

Finally we visited it..

Today is Monday again and right now I'm feeling some blues in my office. Drinking a cup of hot coffee, I am planning my schedules for the day. It will be rather busy as I need to check 3 sites today. I hope there won't be any traffic jams as I absolutely find it worse than lying in the bed sicked!

Yesterday, I finally brought my family to visit the KL ferris wheel. The queue now is not that long and I think people may have already gotten over it's novelty. However, we still got to wait for about 30 mins or so as I find that the crowd there were usually tourists. The ride was okay as it offers something refreshing although my kids love it a lot as most kids are.

We had a long tiring day.

My friend buys Marie Callas harmoniser too

Do you still remember my colleague and buddy Mr Duang? I talked about him regarding Marie Callas sometime in January and he said he would like to try out her offer as he wanted to improve on this luck.

Feeling great with Marie Callas' harmoniser

Just to update you a bit on the personal positive harmoniser from Marie Callas, I think it is a really excellent product as it teaches me in new knowledge and improve my home's overall spiritual conditions. It's just like giving my house a brand new fengshui. Now I can really feel a bit of difference in my home's environment.

Prior to this, I used to get flu easily, although mild flu, roughly every 3 weeks or so. Doing best to control internet usage at home

I realise that internet has been quite slow at my side recently and I can feel it slogging away especially during night times after 9pm. I have filed in a feedback to tmnet and they are checking my connectiom which is a 384kbps broadband with 10 hours usage per month. I am also doing my best not to exceed this free hours as the tariff after that is charged at 5 sen/min. That is the reason I seldom online as it would surely exceed because last month I exceeded and paid extra RM65! Thinking of upgrading this plan if my usage would to be increased soon.

Beware of negative influences

There is a saying, 'stick with ink and you'll become black like ink yourself'. I am not sure of the full version but I think it is a Chinese saying. I always heard it from some of my Chinese colleagues who translated for me and I remember it vividly. It is really true I think. Birds of the same colours flock together, and it is the same for humans.

If you are negative, you tend to group together with negative people, somehow naturally. The same applies for people of different traits. That probably explains why there are so many societies or association that are formed with different special groups of people in mind.

I hate to be a spoil party by spouting negative words to friends who are in really good moods. In fact i think it is a disrespect to them because you just ruin their day. I used to remember I told a colleague about some great food I had taken at USJ and my that colleague totally pissed me off for that day by saying 'if you think that the food from that place is good, most probably you haven't eaten what is the best!' I think that is very hurtful and negative, or, do you think I am just being petty by remembering it so clearly?

Marie Callas herself had said that in order to break the vicious cycle of negative influences, people need to be aware of their thoughts, words, actions, habits and characters because what you act or say will follow you incessantly and even become your own destiny.

So people, remember, next time you say something which you think are not serious, think about the consequences to yourself and the type of people around you.
