Marie Callas has said that the Law of Attraction can manifest itself in matters of
health, health, and happiness.

Whether you are trying to put the Law of Attraction to use in your life or not, it is always at work. You are always putting out vibrations into the universe. They are always collecting with like energies and coming back to you.

Once something becomes important to you, you will develop an excitement about it. That excitement will turn into a power that is greater than any you can drum up by simply repeating words about what you want. The Law of Attraction works in relationships as well as it does in anything else.

By deliberately using the Law of Attraction, you can find that special person you are looking for. One step is to determine what it is you want from a mate. Make a list. Write down strengths you would like the person to have. Write down joys you would like to share.

This is what I told one of my cousins who laments often that she couldn't attract a nice guy but all the wrong companies. I told her that she had been focusing on the wrong things.

Once you have a more concrete idea of what you want, the universe will bring you to your mate through the Law of Attraction. This will happen through matching of frequencies. You send out the frequency of what you want. That vibration goes out and collects with other frequencies like it. In other words, it matches.

When your frequency is vibrating in concert with another frequency, it will only be a matter of time before you meet someone.

Yes, I believe in the Law of Attraction.

Energy is everywhere, and we are energy

Wish to let you know that energy is all encompassing the universe is all about. Everything that we learn from science, from galaxies, stars, planets, biological cells and living things can be broken down to their smallest subatomic parts, and that smallest part we are talking about is energy. Huge amount of destructive energy can be unleashed if manipulated (nuclear weapons for example).

From this analogy, we are all made of and what everything is made of. Thoughts, too, are forms of energy, as are our feelings, emotions and money. Energy is everywhere, and we are energy.

Marie Callas remarks that for departed souls, since they are no longer weighed down by a physical body, their energy level is much higher, and of course, they are not limited to time and place as we are.

The realm they inhabit is also non-physical.

Yes, this is very difficult for me to understand. And I have no further words on this topic, LOL.

Intentions in Our Life

Psychic Marie Callas says in her latest writing to me. We need to stop ourselves excuses for not getting things done. How right.

How many of us just sit back and let things happen? How many of us believe that we cannot really make a difference? We can make a difference in our life and in the lives of others.

We get up during the week and rush around all day. We go to work, go home, grab something quick to eat, stay busy and stay tired. We are continuously doing something but are we doing something intentional?

It is easy to get caught up in our world and forget there are others out there who need help. We pass others on the street without even wondering about how they are.

We all have dreams and goals in our life. We hope to get these done. Sometimes we plan things out in our head and make a list of what to do. Planning is great; however, some get so bogged down in the planning that we don't get started. We can be intentional about reaching our goals.

What can you do this week to help others? What areas of your life do you need to work on? Your family? Your relationships? Your health? Financial issues? Community service? Write down one or two things you want to do to improve in these areas.

Decide, now, to be intentional. Write down one or two things that you can do to move forward this week. Be intentional regardless of how you feel. Make no excuses!

Learn from Failures!

There is a saying "If you fail to plan, you plan to fail". I am not sure who said this but i think it's meaningful.

Yeah, many aspiring guys fail because they have not prepared themselves extensively for the tasks. Me included. I remember vividly my college exam when i was so sure. In the end, it was a fiasco. Yes, everything needs planning. Marie Callas says that too.

Recall that there is not accidental failures. There are reasons for failing. As much as I detest failures, learning from failures could be the most important lesson in your life.

Life is hard enough without you brooding about your failures. People are failing every minute of the day. Yet, they pick up where they failed and start over again. It does not matter if you walk three steps forward but move two steps backwards; because you are still a step forward! Bravo!

Learn your lessons and know where you are heading!

Magical Thoughts

Marie Callas thinks that it’s important for understand that thoughts are impulses of energy and this got the power to show up themselves - no matter for good or evil - in the material world.

Do you know that our experiences, our joys and sorrows, our triumphs and failures, our prosperity or poverty, are the results of the seeds of our thoughts that grow in our mind? In simple words, what we think is what we will experience in our life, our destiny.

Exercise to reduce Stress

Stress is one of the biggest silent enemies that harm our emotional health. If anything in life is not managed or handled properly, stress will come into any person's life, and wreak havoc in many aspects of a normal life and well being. From stress, medical problems will probably manifest in the next step.

Marie Callas advises me to take care of the stress level in my life, stop it as soon as any signs of it appear. Thanks for her kind thoughts! Yeah, she seems to know what i could be going through, as work has been rather hectic recently. I can feel a bit of stress appearing in my life, because I get more easily annoyed by the noise made by my kids and the rude drivers that cut into my lane. Normally I can keep cool in these situations.

Marie recommends as much exercise as I can spend my time on to get ride of stress. She says 30 mins of sports and exercise can have a dramatic effect on the positive and emotional well being. In the end, you will find that you will leave feeling refreshed and rejuvenated after a good dose of exercises.

I agree with her totally. As we work hard to make a living, negative energies will invariably build up inside us. We need to spend part of our time to get rid of these undesirable energies inside us, just like we need to spend 15 mins each day to go to toilet to do our business.

More things you have means more Happiness?

Humans are all the same, no matter the race, colours or religion. We will always want more and never be happy with what we have. What you are earning RM2,000, you think it is not enough and want a job that pays double it asap. You have a normal Kancil that serves you for years but now you are earning more, you want a MPV that can fetch whole family at one go. If you are married with a virtuous wife, you think of that beautiful sexy girl you chance of recently. I know this is not a good example, however, that's how the world goes, isn't it. Due to this inner desire to progress, our society gets better and more convenient, but at the same time, brings out the ugly greed in us.

As for me, I have always wanted a double story house with a spacious garden so that I can rear a couple of dogs to roam freely. An fully air-conditioned house to beat the dreadful heat over here.

Then I started to study a bit about spirituality taught by Marie Callas. I realized that having a big house means having a lot of 'stuff'. Have you ever noticed how we purchase things to fill up our space? If we have large closets and bureaus -- we fill them with clothing. If we have many kitchen cabinets -- we fill them with dinnerware, silverware, bowls and pots and soon undesirable clutters fill up the house if there is no care. This will block the flow of prosperity in your house.

Does all of this sound like we need to give up what we want? Perhaps not, perhaps it means enjoying a simpler life -- a life that is a bit quieter, a bit less hurried, a bit more peaceful -- a bit more introspective. When we begin to look inward to what we really desire, to what truly fulfills us -- we stop expecting other things, other people, other situations to give us what has always been within -- what has always been most meaningful -- what has always been in our hearts.

On decisions and opinions

When we are younger and growing up, most of us did not get to select what we wished to be. We had to follow what our parents or fmaily's example or under pressure to do so. We give up our own dreams to make them pleased so that we can have lesser problems.

That's why I think that consulting other people's opinions and seeking approvals from others are not the same.

When we suffer a disappointment or setback, we got dejected and tend to hide behind a mask of fear and shame. One after another, we begin to wear more and more masks over the entire lives. In the end, we don't even know what is our true self or feelings.

One fine day, some real inspirations come to us and we think that we can finally do something that we like ourselves. But somehow, that courage is lacking due to the spats of failures we suffer in the past....life is an irony.

True Self

Everyone of us has been wishing we are someone else, or rather, wish that if there is time travel, we would go back in time to learn something else and embark on another career which is different from what we are doing now. I guess this is normal thinking.

Well, i think this is not healthy mentally, however, one just can't help it, especially when things are not going your way in life. Also, If you live your life as someone else, you would never have the chance to do what you want to do! You have to live up to the expectation of other people.

Finally, when you finally wake up to your own senses, ……. You’re aged! Your excuse for not able to achieve your own dreams is …… “I’m too old for that!”

So, live for your own true self, now!

Appreciate Life and Don't Rush

Life could be a rush to many people, just like a transit train in the city which brings before to and fro from one place to another, incessantly. If life is a rush, please step aside and slow it down. There is no shame to be slower than that rest. You deserve to take a break and you have every right to do that.

As we travel through the life journey, remnants of the unhappy past and present will stick with us. Things like anxieties, worries, despair, money, or fallen hopes. Remember, money is not everything in your life. It is important yet you must not be controlled by it!

It is very important to be who you are. Live as though you have all the time in the world. Don't rush. It is useless to rush for something and finds yourself at the wrong end of it. Nobody will appreciate all your effort. What a disappointment!!

Natural Talents

I think everyone has special talents. These are in built in us and come as something natural.

For example, I have a colleague who is good at picking up new languages. Total he knows about 7 or 8 languages, although not at native standard, but has no problem talking to the locals if he travels there. As a result, he is very proud when people ask from him to translate for that is fulfilling his own belief and ability.

I do believe i have some natural talents, just that even at this age, i can't seem to find out what it is. Could it been lost when I was growing up?

Marie Callas tells me talents do not have to be something physically demonstrative. It can be something in your behaviour, like, a strong sense of humour or oratory guild, or charisma that allows you to connect to strangers easily.

Actually, nobody has only one specific gift. If you are a person with a good sense of humour, then you may also be someone who has ease with people, one who makes friends easily with a cheerful and merry outlook. These are talents in their own rights.

Eclectic Tastes

I have always love music. Music is energy to me since I turned 15. It enriches my life when there was no handphones or internet. Radio and cassettes were the primary source of entertainment when I was young and they helped me to get through some toughest moment years back.

Through the year, my tastes have turned eclectic, from bassa nova to jazz/classic, and new age / psychic music. A bit of ethnic music completes the package.

My taste is very eclectic. I like everything from jazz to classical to disco and funk.

I love sharing music with daughters as well. Especially with my youngest girl. I am extremely happy that she likes nearly all of the music I like, so long road trips to Penang are always enjoyable as she will dance in the car. She really likes my disco, which is great because uptempo music helps to keep me alert.

Occasionally, I will dabble a bit into new age meditative music to soothe my restless mind before I sleep. It really builds up some mood in a lovely evening...

Marie Callas offers me a way to become even more prosperous in my life. In her letter to me, she says the life we live actually comes from our imagination - our thoughts, our visions and our beliefs.

Things that we say and do in whole life do turn out to be true in the end in physical form. She says we are the creator of our own reality and we are solely responsible for everything that is showing up in our lives.

Think about it more deeply.

For example I have buddies who are always complaining about life, such as high cost of living, inflation, food getting more expensive and bad economy...Yes, those few friends clearly experience a scarcity and lack of prosperity in them.

Another example is lonely singles at marriageable age lament that the good ones are taken, and the remaining could be the rotten apples. Exactly, that person's love life could be empty and full of unhappy incidents in the past.

Marie Callas reminds that there's good news though.

In Eyes of the Beholder

All of us are very unique and that is exactly how the Creator designed each and every to be.

There is a common saying "beauty is in the eyes of the beholder", each of us has an idea of how pretty someone or something appears physically. Comparatively, this could mean you may think Megan Fox looks stunning but another person may find her ordinary (yes, I have a friend who thinks she's ugly!). In the end, it just does not really matter as everything is entitled to own opinion.

We are sometimes weakened by people's opinion of how we look. The question to asked ourselves first is "Do I love myself?", the answer should be YES but if it is not,we have to deal with that. Then we need to sift out the right opinions from the nonsense. Taking only the constructive ones and trash the destructive ones because it will do us no good. We do not need to look like someone else in order to be happy good looking. Even the prettiest model can have inferiority complex.

Nevertheless, I believe in being healthy(taking care of our body) and dressing right. So if you work out because you want to stay fit, by all means, go for it.

Movie Time - GI Joe

Last Sunday I brought my family to watch the GI Joe movie. It was certainly an action packed right from the beginning to the moment right till the end. Since young, I had always like these cartoon series, and happy that they have finally adapted it into a featured movie.

As usual, you won't be disappointed by the CGI and action sequence. But somehow, it has a sense of deja vu for some scenes, sort of like seeing those somewhere in other movies, but i just can't remember which one. The most magnificent is of course the one in which the Eiffel Tower was destroyed. Awesome! Yeah, the invisible cloak was like taken from Harry Potter and some were like Transformer 2.

In the end though, all of us thoroughly enjoyed the time. It's just a quality family time and outing. It has been sometime since we have a movie together.

Solar Eclipse

I think many of us are excited about the solar eclipse on 22nd July which is tomorrow. It has been many years since I last experienced one, and I remember I was quite young then, when the day turned dimmed as the sun was blocked by the passing moon.

Eclipse is a common astronomical phenomenon that is full of mythical connotations. My cina friends told me solar eclipse happens when the "heavenly dog" is eating the sun. I am sure other cultures have their own mythical beliefs too.

Scientifically, textbook tells me that solar eclipse is a natural phenomenon and it takes place when moon comes between sun and earth in a straight line. During the eclipse the moon passes over the surface of the earth. As we are at earth and we will be able to see that moon is going to block the light of sun as it totally covers the sun. This can only take place during a new moon, when sun and moon is in conjunction, as seen from earth. This is how solar eclipse takes place.

However, despite all these excitement built up by the media around the world, I won't be able to see the "longest solar eclipse" (about 6 minutes) of this century. This is because it happens in countries like India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Myanmar and China). The next total solar eclipse of such magnitude will only happen in year 2132!

Out of the box

There is this creativity talk on the job. What is it? Experts say creative people are people who can come out with IDEAS..faster than anyone. It doesn't matter what kind of ideas, its how fast these good and bad ideas were churned out fast! The point is, some where will come a brilliant idea to solve the problem on the table. And in a more cost effective and better way.

I feel that if you are able to do that, then you will be a valuable asset to the organisation, as you can the one who comes out with ideas that could make the "gears" tick and move smoothly - a leading light. There are always problems on hand, and in the fast economy, that calls for someone with quick brains and composure. This quality alone can set you apart from another employee and make you more valuable to that employer.

Who does not have problems to solve at any kind of job they may be on?

I feel that thinking out of the box is something that can be learned. The sad thing is that this country needs many of such people in the top leading tier to progress. We are doing fine, but need something extra to jump to the "premier league" of asian countries.

That is why, drastic changes have to be made. Hope they know.

Meaning of LOVE

It's been a long time...glad this blog is still alive.

Everyone of us has a different meaning of love. People agree that humans need to love and be loved. There is no greater power than love in this world as its so empowering. It can motivate people to do things for others they wouldn't normally do. In ancient times, love can cause the collapse of a grand empire. Some even give up everything for the sake of the one they love. You see it in the newspapers everyday...

Here in our little planet, love is in abundance if you love for it and it comes from our heart that keeps it going on.

While there is much love, there is much hatred around too. Why is there so much hatred? The answer is simple. This world is unbalanced due to our different castes, religions and systems.

True love is more than a sentimental, gushy feeling that will keep us alive. Love is a decision, a choice we each must make.

In some points you will notice that most of people also find the definition of love same with that meaning, may be because it's the general definition of it. But for me to be more unique, in my own the meaning of love is giving or showing concern,help without expecting anything in return and even though they don't ask for a help".

It is important for us to know what is the true meaning of love in our own because it will be the key for us to be loved by others.

Short trip to the East

My family went to eastern city of Kuantan recently. It was the first time I went there and the 3 hours journey was enjoyable and cool. The traffic was not that heavy too compared to here in the capital.

The 3 hours journey was good, thanks to the chat I had with the people in my car. Else, I will be falling asleep. Actually I was there to bring my family for a tour of the country. It is my first time there too. Marie Callas says its an auspicious period for me to travel and she was right... Everything went smoothly. Nothing went missing! (for those who don't know, some items will go missing whenever we go for family outing)

We stayed at the hotel facing the scenic view of Kuantan river. There's an esplanade along the river and we rested at the eatery stalls over there. The food was decent and fragrant. Nothing to complain about except the sweltering weather.Yeah this is a nice place and i love this country.

Cutting it short..i plan to go there again in near future. The kids love it.

a precarious moment

As i am writing this post, a tension is building up intensely in North Asia where N Korea is going to test a missile in the pretext of "self defence". This has brought jitters among superpowers and N Korea's neigbhouring countries. Personally, i think this is not right and can be viewed as an act of potential aggression disguised a national defence.

Just imagine your neighbour practising archery by shooting arrows across your compound to the open land beyond that. Would you feel good about that? No, i think you will want to confront them with your own dose of "arrows". The outcome is of course wars!

I am a peace loving guy and I advocate humanity and compassion. I just do not understand what some political leaders are thinking. I think they are all a bunch of idiots, and somehow we are ruled by these idiots. Ultimately i believe all of them are self serving protecting own interests rather than serving people.

Sad state of affairs huh?

Forgiveness - wisdom of living

Marie Callas tells me in her letter that the Law of Forgiveness is working in your life everyday whether you authorizs it or not. This is not a law that you are bound by - it is a universal principle that has existed even before man set foot on the earth.

When you practice forgiveness, you find that others begin to treat you differently, and they really open you to you after some time..its like seeing light at the end of the dark long tunnel and you feel the glee when there is finally light at the end of it. Some will appreciate you to such a degree that they will open themselves to you and give whatever they can to aid you.

The law of Forgiveness is a living mechanism which helps you to take back the power you may have thrown away in the past. It just doesn't worth it spiritually if you have some intense hatred or dislike for someone as you are simply wasting energy that can be used for more positive attitudes and experiences in life.

This is the universe working in harmony after forgiveness has cleared the way for peace. So, in forgiving others, we become the recipients of comfort, peace and happiness.

My daughters absolutely love this series. They are always jumping up and down in excitement, shrieking in ear-piercing pitch high, and squealing whenever there is something eerie.

We are living in a country with diverse culture and traditional practices. On the whole I feel government has been doing a decent job to preserve this balance and stability over the last couple of decades. Generally we live with each other in harmony and respect of each other despite the unfair govt policy to favour certain group of people. Things i feel, are starting to crack in last 3 or 4 years. If this crack is not mended soon, i guess it could go beyond rescue as ethnic identity is a very stirring force that can wreak social havoc on national scale.

I am doing hard to be positive. What's wrong with learning a new culture, that isn't a crime, is it? To learn and understand each other's culture is the best way to maintain the multiculturalism in our country. I wonder why, top people are always playing with fire to advance their personal political motives.

Guess today's mood is a bit sombre.

Recently i'd really received a lot of mails. For example, yesterday i got 5 solicited mail from credit card companies all promoting different kind of products like spa package or latest e-gadgets. It was really interesting i feel as i prefer to look at it with a positive view.

In the midst of the pile of letters, I found my Marie Callas letter. Ya, i was waiting for a reply from her. It has been more than 3 weeks and i was wondering if she had missed mine. I am glad she hasn't. It feels good to see her writing to me again as i had not been replying to her for last 3 months. Really busy lately.

We live in luck today in this internet age. we have inventions that make our lives so much easier. No worries about darkness or hot weather because we have lights and aircons. We can travel the world easily when these long distance flights. We have mobile phones that ensure that we don't get lost wherever we go. Information is also at our fingertips.

"I'm bored, there's nothing to do" never really happens for me. I can't wait for a spare moment to go check something out. Life is just so damn fascinating to be feeling bored.

You see, the Universe is always sending you signs and vibrations. All the time, and when you become aware and ask for signs, they come right to you. This applies to everything you want in life. Sometimes the signs could come faster while sometimes you need to be patient.

When receiving a sign of encouragement or a sign to take action, you have to think about what a particular sign means to you. I see positive signs all the time, like there was a sparrow who flew into my house recently chirping and fluttering excitedly. It was not losing its way definitely as it did not behave weirdly. To me that is a good sign that there is prosperity in my house.

You see,m there there is too much to learn to ever be bored or disinterested. Just pick a subject and go find out about it. A lot of stuff you learn can be life changing - and always for the better.

Empower yourself by having enquiring mind. Life is just too interesting to let go.

Living with stress

People feel stressed all the time, even little kids can have stress. It is very normal and a little bit of stress is actually good for us, don't you think so?

Stresses come about easily - school, jobs, family, friendship and problems with bf or gf.. If stress mounts up and is uncontrolled, some weaker people may succumb to it and sinker deeper into the mire, but there are also people who manage to overcome stress. A good and simple way to drive away stress is to take a deep breath when you feel you are choked by the mounting pressure.

If you feel stress attack is coming, pause for a while and inhale deeply. Or you could choose to talk to someone who you are close with. If there is no one around or you do not feel comfortable for the topic to be talked about, you could still opt to vocalize your problems with your pet. Yes its just that easy. Just like i am feeling a bit stressed now and i vent it via posting on this blog. I feel as i throw out my bottled up feelings, i could get better.

Really, with mental conditioning, stress is no big deal. Of course, looking at things positively helps a lot too.

True happiness

Reading a latest letter from Marie Callas makes me think of this question. What kind of life do we have to lead in order to be considered as truly happy. Is it living in a big house, driving a luxurious continental car, buying items from shopping malls without ever checking the price tags? Right now, many of us are not that wealthy, so dreaming of this kind of life is surely the right definition of "happiness".

What I would like to ask is that how many of these people are truly happy? A lot of times we see these people engaged in power struggles, or some sort of court cases. Do you think deep inside this is true happiness? It often turns out that due to our materialistic way of life and thought, true happiness is located outside of the self. We claim that we have been dealt bad cards but if certain circumstances were to change, we would find true happiness.

If only we could meet that perfect mate, we would be happy for all time. If only we had a better-paying and more satisfying job, we would ask for nothing else in this life. If only we were rich and famous, all our problems would fade away.

Don't get me wrong. I am not saying that striving for happiness or success is inherently evil or harmful. Quite to the contrary. Looking for success is a healthy activity for us. Yet I think we should take all with a grain of salt; everything should come with a warning sign attached to it. Be happy with who you are and what you have and enjoy the process of looking for happiness because you never know, in the end, when you cross the corner and reach your goal, it may not be what it seemed in the first place.

It's been sometime since I came here. Does this mean the balloon has been deflated? Maybe my life's is so smooth that I don't need to blog to vent frustration anymore?

Maria Callas still writes to me regularly. Recently I read with anticipation that she is going to send me a free CD full of magic words and powerful principles of the Law of Attraction. Yes, I have got the CD and i listen to it while I am driving on the way to work.

Do you know, life has been good last 2 years. Think positive and get rewarded. It is up to you to choose how life wants to bee. Generally, I feel the economy crisis does not really impact this country a lot. Maybe our trade with other countries are no longer strong as before or we are more self sufficient? Importantly many of us are now working in Singapore and that brings foreign cash to this country too. I think that itself is a buffer to the economic stability of this country. On the whole I feel we are stagnant since the current PM gets into office. What you think?

I went a small lottery last weekend, I am so happy the lucky numbers given by Marie Callas brought me luck. Not a lot, just RM300. So I brought my family for some bowling sessions. It has been a long time since I last bowled. For two glorious hours I laced up a pair of slippery shoes and threw a ball down a greased lane trying to knock down as many pins as possible. And, as expected, I was rubbish at it. Yes I am getting fatter sad to say. But as long as the kids are happy, i am very happy. They are really hard to pleased nowadays!

2008 is ending soon, in just a few days. This is really a tumultuous year. In fact, every year is chaotic in terms of world events. Negative big events are always hogging the headlines each year. This year is dominated by the financial crashes, and the US election and the Mumbai hotel siege. Despite these, I am sure there are happy events around too.

It is always happiness and sadness taking turns to appear in life. Nothing is the same all the time. We seek to be happy no matter what's the background we from. Hence, when we look back, they give us great joy and pleasure to see and feel how things used to be in the past.

Most importantly, the right attitude is that do not assume that your future will be bad just because you have a tragic past. If you think in this way, you are basically telling your mind what kind of life you wish to have in the future.

So as you look back into the past while you are thinking about your life, do you recall more of your good times or more of those bad times?

Do you know that by stirring up old memories often, especially those bad old memories, we are making a conscious renewed contact with the involutive force of the Universe?

Some people just do not let go of the bad times and experience and constantly replay it in their minds, and in the end, getting disillusioned or are full of vengeance.

By focusing some your positive experiences is a great way to heal your past wounds spiritually. Throwing always those sad memories right to the deepest depth of your mind will surely make you let go of those hurtful and caustic moments of your life.

Talking to myself

Sometimes I talk to myself. No, I'm not mad. Yes, it does freak my wife out when i talk to no one but myself suddenly. Really, when i do that, i'm just self talking to myself so that I can sort my thoughts out. I find it easier to make a decision when I do that. This is nothing crazy at all.

In fact, I recommend people to do that. For example, before your semester presentation, do to a corner and tell yourself, you can do it and you are going to impress the teachers in your presentation. Successful people do that constantly i read somewhere. They encourage themselves, give themselves surprises and presents as forms of positive self support. When they face problems, they do not falter easily. Their positive self-talk give them much confidence and prod them to move forward bravely.

This is one way to push yourself on, so that in really adverse time, when you are alone, you still maintain that fire in your belly to drive on, so sticking to something you passionately believe is possible.

Believe in yourself positively. Have a firm grip of your mind so that it works for your positively. Yes, positive self-talking will change your perception of yourself.

For most people, success means possession of wealth, prestige or status. By these criteria alone, the majority of us would not qualify. Yet the truth is that success is really a subjective perception. In other words, it is all in the mind. If one thinks one is successful, that perception is valid by one's own reckoning.

The fact is that no-one is perfect and no-one can do everything well. It is sufficient that each one of us does our best. I recently heard a man say that it was not until he made peace with his past that he truly began to live. It changed his life so drastically that everyone noticed there was something different about him. It was not until 20 years after losing his father that he began to grieve the loss for the first time. He finally allowed himself to face his past with all the anger and pain. There was so much that he missed out on. There were lost opportunities and things that would never be, so many regrets, poor choices, and bad experiences that would affect the rest of his life.

Our siamese twin - Ego

Humbleness is always one of my virtues in my view and I am thinking is it because of my background (I come from a poor family) that makes me humble. Strictly speaking, I have yet seen something who comes from a rich background and who are able to mix with us well. My aim is to be well off one day and I wonder when that happens, will I change due to stronger ego? Is ego proportional to wealth?

Seen commonly in TV shows where a poor guy suddenly has that superiority complex when successes comes to him. Marie Callas reminds that on the path to reach higher spiritual path, one must be able to put down one's ego in order to reach a higher spiritual level. I wonder if I can do that at times..

What is EGO actually?

Essentially EGO equals your self-image and it is the you who you think you are.

Take a simple example. If your friend calls you a stupid person for believing in that story, you get displeased, aren't you. Why? Because it's a challenge to your self-image and your ego tells you you are not stupid, so you get unhappy!

Hence, Marie Callas is smart enough to say EGO is your Siamese Twins that is constantly drawing your attention, chiding you, making fun of you and ultimately, making you to perceive yourself to be better than someone else.

So is EGO bad?

Everyone wants wealth, health and happiness but unfortunately few people actually accomplish it. To most people these three sought after liberties are only a dream never to be realized. The world seems to be spinning out of control. There are chaos, wars, famine, bad weather, earthquakes, escalating living costs, moral issues, corrupt governments, religious fanatism, and loss of hope. The outlook seems extremely bleak. I read somewhere that world is ending in 2012. Another of those prophetic predictions again?

Do you still think there is hope? Perhaps there is.....The time has come to know truth.

Let us, dive into the deep waters of our own nature and its connection with life. Life filled with happiness and peace., and if the windows of heaven were to open, blessings would pour out so abundantly there would not be enough room to receive them. Wouldn't it be wonderful?

People would begin to talk, think and act in the confidence that there were a Higher Being providing for them on their life's journey. Just think of a world where everyone's actions were expressions of truths that demonstrated peace, health, happiness and harmony.

Energy centres in our body

The clairvoyant, Marie Callas, says that we are energy body, which without it, we can't be present physically. Then there are seven centres called chakra in the energy body. It is interesting to note the it comes from Indian origin and spirituality studies.

I'm very saddened by the events happening at Myanmar and China. Hundreds of thousands of people had perished under the merciless forces of Mother Nature and it makes me even appreciate the docile geographical location of where I'm staying even more. Down here we only whine about the government and the forever lack of money to sustain a good life style. At least we do not have much worries of no food to eat for our daily meals but over at those disaster struck areas, having a bottle of clean water to drink could even be a tall order for some!

That's why I urge people to be compassionate and donate some to the disaster fund to be pledged to help the poor souls who are affected. I read from The Star Online that Malaysians are donating generously and it's really heartening to know that we do have a large group of compassionate people here.

A sad piece of news - so always think on the bright side

Folks,I'm so sorry I've neglected you. Last couple of months were really tied up by my family and some more the workload was heavy that I'd totally forgotten to come in to check this blog out. I guess it's still not my second nature yet. On the whole, I am still happy receiving Marie Callas predictions and lucky numbers. I don't adore her blindly nor do I am against her. We are all responsible for our own actions and decisions.

I not sure, but I think the formative ideas in our brain and mind will decide the outcome of our live greatly. For example, i received a news that a friend's friend who had been asking himself about whether was he good enough to support his family, AND, in the even he were to die, would his family suffer? Such a pessimistic thought really shouldn't come even in the first place.

And guess what, my friend's friend slipped and drowned by a waterfall while doing some photo-taking overseas! Now the wife has to take up the burden of supporting the newly born kid by herself and the kid will grow up without the father.

So, the lesson learned here is, do not project pessimistic thoughts here and there. You never know when these pessimistic thoughts will manifest, whether on your own life your or on your loved ones!

Always look at the bright side. There are always solutions to every problems.

Today I read from The Stars newspaper online version that History Channel is going to show Nostradamus on 27th April. The name of this show is called "The Lost Book of Nostradamus". I am already curious about the history of this guy who became famous after the 911 incident. Before that he was virtually unknown to the masses. How strange it is!

So I've already marked this date on my diary as "no going out day". I hope there won't be any last minute special appointments or things to attend too. Otherwise I'll have to wait again for the re-run of the show.

You need to have unwavering faith and confidence that the number given to you will win you some money. Practise positive affirmation like, "I'm the blessed man God has chosen to shower me with His treasures and I'll win and make a lot of money this life." Something like that. You just need to repeat it 3 times each time for 3 times a day. Morning, afternoon and night before you sleep. This is fundamental law of attraction at work.

time changes a person

Let me be serious. Whenever a friend or an acquaintance asks me, "Suppiah, what is your vision or goal in your life?, I will cringe when I think of the stakes of answering this question. Frankly, I'm not able to answer this simple question properly. Maybe I have not thought of that in depth or I give my own life a damn..I used to dream of being a sportsman, I like to play hockey when I was young and when I was in the school but that was years ago...later in life, I like to be a top car salesman because I like cars. Somehow, the path drifts and now I'm just a normal project engineer.

Well, coming back to reality, I guess my answer now will be I wish to take care of my family well enough so that they do not have to suffer too much. Pretty ambitionless arh?

As kids, we wish to grow up faster so that we can escape from the clutches of our parents. So we dream but such dream changes as we grow up and we experience different things. The dream of being a sportsman changes when I studied in uni and now I'm not even sure if this is what I want in life, just that the salary of this job is enough for me to feed my family well which is the most comforting.

I guess this weekend is indeed a very special one when you look back into the history of this country. Finally, we have said, enough is enough. We need a change so that our country can move forward! That's why everyone is so excited by the outcome. I thank all fellow countrymen to be so forthcoming and not shied away when you are making a decision that could affect your and you kid's future here. While I hoping for a new era in this country, I pray there is peace and love among one another. And I think this is the sign that we are now a nation with mature populace who can think and no longer have to feed on what they have been trying to tell us. We love this country, that's why those people who are just paying a lip service ought to be replaced by those who are more fervent and sincere to serve.

Being a busy working man with family to take care, I realise that my most important asset is HEALTH! That is the most important gift a man ever can have. You can't do anything when you are sicked, or bed-ridden. You are deemed a liability in this cruel society if that happens to you tragically. That is why there is a mandatory need for everyone to eat well and keep fit, both mentally and physically.

I have discovered what works for me. I do a brisk walk, all by myself, when my brain goes haywire without ideas to tackle my pile of jobs in front of me. It gets me recharged again. A nice little walk down the blocks here and climb a few levels of stair are all that I need. Simple and easy.

A moment away from the computer, to get your eyes rested and see something greenish. No matter how busy you think you are, it does you good and often after a bit of activity you come back to the computer and end up more productive just because you took a spiritual break!

my long term dream

Everyone has dreams - no matter at what stage in their lives. So do I. My dream at this stage of my life is to ensure my kids grow up well in and be independent. Next, I'll travel with my wife to really many exotic and mysterious places in our enthralling planet. I wish to achieve this feat while we are still healthy and able to work without any kind of wobbly or requiring any walking aides. That leaves us some 30 year to achieve this dream. I wonder what will happen to me then? Will I still be existing on this place or....?

That is why I'm starting to make money as much to my knowledge as I can. Marie Callas is helping me along the way and she helps to take care of the spiritual aspect while I'll have to be courageous to strive on for the best!

I just read this article in a bookshop while I was waiting for my family to finish their errands. I find it relevant to our lives, especially when the year is still new.

When you want motivation, do this:

1. Write on a piece of paper all the things you have accomplished in your self. Surely there is something in your life no matter how minor it could be. Write it down and be proud of it. Think what you have learned from this achievement. Analyze why were you able to accomplish it then.

2. It's a fact acknowledged by all experts that this is a great way to boost yourself mentally. Write down what you wish and want to be in life and visualize intensively you have already achieved such goal. The power of your thought and mind will set the gears going for you. For me i visualize i am touring all over Europe on my loved ones without the worries of job and money.

3. Learn to help others to be successful or help bring other people's nearer to their next life milestone. Its a strong motivation pill. Through the joy and contentment seen on their faces, its a immense shot of spiritual power to lift you up to next level.

4. Find a quiet place to relax. The place must be distractionless, no internet, TV or worldly distractions. Meditate there and focus on your goals. Think about plan of action. Just be relax and concentrate. Be cheerful too.

5. Have a detail plan showing where you want to be in life and motivation with this method is found within the organization and planning. Start with an outline of perceived progress and work at it from priority. You may find that things need to be added or re prioritize as you start working through the plan.

Spectacular fireworks

Happy New Year 2008 to all of you. Selamat tahun baru!

I had a great time when my family as we celebrated the countdown to 2008 over here at one of the KL's latest shopping havens called the Curve. As my kids love to watch fireworks - they did not have enough of those at the recent firework festival - so being an obliging dad I brought them to experience the new year revelry and the fireworks illuminating the dark sky to usher in the new year.

I guess there were possibly thousands of people that night as there were more than one countdown at The Curve, and at least 3 fireworks displays around the vicinity of Mutiara Damansara. No wonder the crowd. And the jam ;)

Frankly, I have never viewed fireworks at such close proximity so it's really very inspiring to see the spectacle tonight with my family. The only bad point was the my neck became ached after bending it to view the sky for nearly 10 minutes!

We love it totally of course!

Not really in happy mood recently, as you know, the Hindraf incident here has made many of us feel uncertain in our beloved country. Every country has own domestic problems and this is one of them that has been ignored over and over. I shouldn't comment too much about this sensitive issue though. Living passionately is an important aspect of a fulfilling life. But passion doesn't have to be reserved for just our goals. We have become so goal oriented that we have lost being involved in the activity and the journey. I agree that without passion for the journey itself, and that includes all areas of life, there will be disappointment when we reach our destination.

Besides, there is no destination. Life is an on-going process of evolution. So when we focus on reach the goal to feel satisfaction, we are reaching for a ghost.

So the only definition I can see is a bad habit is anything that has a disruptive, sabotaging and negative impact on our life. But in general, if we focus on strengthening our positive qualities, rather than trying to weed out every little negative action, we will create a more positive and productive lifestyle.

A colorful festival that is celebrated by all Hindus worldwide is Deepavali, which is also known as the festival of lights. This festival usually falls around late October and November.

One important practice that the Hindus follow during the festival is to light oil lamps in their homes on Deepavali morning. By lighting the oil lamps, the Hindus are thanking the gods for the happiness, knowledge, peace and wealth that they have received. The Hindus consider Deepavali as one of the most important festivals to celebrate.

There is even an interesting legend behind this festival. The story goes that Narakasura, a demon, ruled the kingdom of Pradyoshapuram. Under his rule, the villagers suffered a lot of hardship as the demon tortured the people and kidnapped the women to be imprisoned in his palace. Seeing his wickedness, Lord Khrishna set out to destroy the demon and the day Narakasura died was celebrated as Deepavali, the triumph of good over evil!

The Hindus usually awake early in the morning of deepavali around 3am and the first ritual will be having an oil bath, which is an important feature of Deepavali. Hindus will be dressed in their new clothes on Deepavali. Most of the ladies would be clad in silk saris or Punjabi suits of various bright shades. Hindus particularly dislike dressing in black on that day, as they consider black an inauspicious color for the festival.

Hindus would also pay their respects to the elderly and most families would go to the temple after having breakfast. This is also an important practice for them. The reason why they would be going to the temples is to pray to get happiness and prosperity on Deepavali. The houses would be decorated with oil lamps and children will play with firecrackers to celebrate the festival. On the first day, they would not go visiting but would stay at home to welcome the guests who visit them.

Visiting Hindus during Deepavali will be an interesting activity, as you will get to taste a wide variety of delicious food. In every home that you visit you are bound to be served with a tempting spread of sweets. Some of the popular sweets are halwa, burfi and laddu.

Hindus love eating spicy food and for non-vegetarians they indulge in favorites like chicken tandoori, prawn sambal and fish head curry. In homes of Hindus who are vegetarians popular dishes like thosais, idlis and naans are prepared.

Many of us when we were young were passionate about everything that we do. We loved painting, playing, reading our favourite books, running, and using our imaginations to create fabulous, fantastic worlds.

A former colleague of mine has decided to go ahead to set up his own business. He left my present company about 2 years ago to pursue a career in IT which is a total stranger to me sometimes.

He was always the brightest learner in my department.Quick to learn, blessed with good memory and a passion to provide good customer support to my project team at all times. Everyone of us likes him and it was sad to hear him leaving the company at that time.

Recently I met him on the streets and we chatted over coffee. He had since set up his own web design company as he felt there is growing web demand here in this country. I did applaud his decision to go after his dream but he seems a little lack of confidence at this time as he fears of falling on his face and having to crawl back, defeated.

I told him nobody really failed in life. We all get what we go after – without fail. The difference between positive and negative thinkers is that the positive thinker goes after what they want, while the negative thinker, more times than not, accepts whatever comes along.

So all of us need to believe that we can achieve and have that passion to go for it. Just be prepared to face the tougher challenges on the way to living our definition of success.

Quite strangely, I'm surprised I can give such a pep talk to someone. Maybe I can be a motivator now!

Striving to improve

One thing I have learned of being positive is that you can attract more friends. And most amazingly, most of the people around you are positive-minded even though there are some cynics who always like to retort you when you make a positive forecast of something.

A couple of years ago, I was very negative person. People dislikes me I guess and I know that. That's why I became more negative. Somethings I felt I was ostracised. However, through Marie Callas, I gradually looked into my behaviour and mental process and decided that I need to change something so that I can be at peace with myself.

What I learn from Marie Callas was that when I was thinking negatively, I forced myself to think about something good that has happened to me recently. Come on, I strongly believe no matter how bad your life is, there ought to have something little spisodes in life that cheer you up, even for just a few minutes. Yeah, focus on that! Yes, we have our first astronaut.

After months of planning and training, Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor will be launching to space soon from Kazakhstan with astronauts from Russia. He will be embarking on a ten-day mission and will return on 21st October.

“It’s a small step for me, but a great leap for the Malaysian people,’’ Dr Sheikh Muszaphar.

There is intense media coverage among all the TV stations here and you also watch the launch over Astro.

Despite all the negative stories recently, this is really a big positive news for all of us. It's nice to read something as inspirational over the papers rather than those depressing criminal exploits.

My understand would be that they feel unfair when someone else they know happen to have the luck to get the "good" things in life, while they have to slog it out without avail. I know, because this common human emotions.

No point drowning yourself in sorrow and expect sympathy. Instead, your life is not your circumstances.

A quiet stream nearby

How I wish I have this stream at the back of my house where I can hear the flow of the stream and look at the clear water full of little fish when I'm feeling bored.

Our interaction with nature is getting less and less in this hectic life hence it will be good to have something natural with you at touching distance with travelling far to enjoy it.I remember when I was young, my grandmother's house had something like this nearby her old house before it was torn down and replaced by an highway. Sad isn't it. Really miss those worries free days in the childhood. Even during days,with heavy rainfall, the stream wouldn't flood, unlike now, it floods easily. Somewhere is wrong with the man and the nature definitely.

Creating Abundance

Creating abundance in your life, means taking responsibility for what you are attracting into it. When you turn, "responsibility" around, it asks the question, "What is your ability to respond?"

We are instantly attracting to us, whatever we focus on and respond to.

Positive and negative thoughts from us, are sent out into the universe, every which way. The law of attraction is not built to censor the positive, or negative. It simply works on one main principle. "Like, attracts like."

Begin by not engaging your negative feelings with frustration and anger, or rage.

Stop putting your energy into, what you don't like, don't want; and begin responding to your positive thoughts, with intention. In this way, you will begin to create abundance for yourself. It's not what happens to you, in life; it is taking responsibility for how you respond to it. This is the real power, to create abundance in your life.

Most of us, believe money would equate to, abundance. And yet, money, by itself, is nothing more than a tool to acquire a new home, or car.

Begin defining, what abundance equates, to you. Keep the list and focus on it three times a day. It's ok to change the list as you go over it. This is normal.

If you want a new house, then begin defining what kind of house you really want. Get specific, then focus with intention, and believe you will have this. Let the law of attraction begin working for you.

Learn to create abundance, by practicing these three steps everyday.

Why show gratitude?

Over the weekend, I had a great time with my friends and family. Great time and great food. What more could I ask for. I express my deepest gratitude for that abundance in life.

While I am writing this, I ask, how many people are aware of the abundance that fills their lives right now? I guess not many. I'm not in the best position to say anything I guess. And I do know, many people are taking lives for granted that they have forgotten they are actually surrounding by abundance. Having abundance really doesn't mean collecting that unending list of material possessions.

In our materialistic society we are told by others (many through our television sets and media) that we need more stuff to be happy and fulfilled, and when we acquire and possess the stuff they tell us we should have, they bring out more stuff, newer, improved, better stuff and tell us that we need that. But I guess that's how the world develops too! It's a parody in spirituality I bet.

But let me boldly state one thing which is, the vicious circle of material possessions doesn't end until we develop an attitude of gratitude.

How can being thankful for something stop us from wanting more and more possessions?

When you become grateful the aspects of life neglected. Instead of worrying about how you can get your next better car, you explore how you can create your next sign of love. Then your value will change and life appreciation grows. So that greedy appetite to acquire more material stuff lowers.

The Power of Gratitude

Gratitude. This is a virtue which Marie Callas speaks so often but so many people have forgotten. There are actually immense powers if you express gratitude.

Gratitude is one thing which requires no money or effort and you can do that for free but it does have the effect your making you rich in your life.

Sometimes we feel life is so unfair. Someone has all the good stuff in the world yet you have to slog it out to earn pittances. You develop an attitude of angst. Don't! Instead develop an attitude of gratitude.

Practise showing your gratitude as much as you can. You don't have to go around smiling at every hour every minutes to do that. You can tell yourself in your mind how much you appreciate this life or better still, you can meditate on that.

Whenever something goes against you, do not be hateful. Express gratitude that it has taught you something instead. Be sincere and genuine too, for you will truly feel thankful for the abundance in your life.

There is this famous motivational book called "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill.

Maybe you have heard and even read it a few times before. Call me being shadow, for this is the first time I have heard of this book.

The book is famous because I read that many top entrepreneurs, business owners and sales marketers have read the book. There are a lot of principles which can be easily practised and reflected upon. After all, as I have write many times, its your mental conditioning to success that matters. Too often, normal people severely lack the mental conditioning for success.

A Rush to Blog

Away from the topic of Marie Callas and spirituality for a while...

I received an invite from my sister about this latest thingy in blogging world called BlogRush. It was just launched apparently by an Internet expert John Reese and BlogRush is said to have exploded exponentially all of the sudden.

I have learned a lot over the last few months about blog traffic and you just need to look at its Alexa to see the amount of traffic hitting BlogRush suddenly.

It works like a MLM scheme and if you refer more people to BlogRush, your blog will gain more traffic. The concept sounds cool and novel and traffic is the lifeline of every serious blogger hence you can see the sudden interest in this site.

It is very simple to do. Just sign up and optionally refer some bloggers. Next paste the widget script to your blog and then save it. When you refresh your blog, you'll see that it will pull out posts of other bloggers who blog about the same genre and topic as you. For example, my blog will mainly show up posts about spirituality.

So try BlogRush out and you may find your blog has increased traffic!

Self, Soul, Spirit and Source

Self - the thought of 'I'/ ego/ personality

Soul - the essence of the individuation of spiritual energy that makes you uniquely you, ... the consciousness, ...but more than the concept of self. The true representation of the individuation that has no masks. I think we can hold on to this as long as we want to.

Spirit - the facet of creative energy that is the essence of your being, ... that which is cloaked in the soul and self.

Source - (Divine Spirit/ God) - the creative energy that is all/everyone/everything ... the primal essence/ source of life/ existence, collectively.

Predictions anyone?

Sometimes when numbers appear in your dreams, people think those numbers are the lucky numerical given to you from your God. Those are prediction numbers that could prove decisive in your weekend's lottery game. Not just numbers, can be anything, any signs or any images in your dreams. You may find one day those images will appear in real before your eyes and that will give you a sense of familiarity.

Recently, I dream about waiting near a durian tree feverishly for the fruits to drop. A few days later, you know what, I was eating durians at a road side stall, courtesy of a treat from a mate!

So I like to ask , do you have any predictions that you would like to share? I thought it would be fun to do this and see how many turn out to be accurate.
